Online Seminar on Intercultual Communication
Outline of the Lectures
* Appropriate communication with international students, foreign researchers, and engineers in preparation for overseas study and business trips, Intercultural exchange introductory study to take
* Would you like to know what makes young engineers successful in today's international environment? These lectures introduce students to those necessary intercultural knowledge and skills that are not commonly taught at university. Ms. Petersen is Canadian and has lived in Aachen, Germany for 30 years. She teaches in the Executive MBA program at RWTH Aachen Technical University, as well as many other universities and companies in Germany and around the world.

2020 Excursion for International Students
We will visit "Himeji Castle" and "Panasonic Eco Technology Center" this year.
Himeji castle is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Japanese National Treasures.
"Panasonic Eco Technology Center" is a hands-on recycling-oriented plant run by Panasonic Corporation.
They developed a system that simultaneously separates and collects PP, PS, and ABS (types of plastic) at over 99% purity using infrared light. This visit will offer you valuable insight for your research.

Places to visit:Himeji castle, Panasonic Eco Technology Center
Who can apply: Those who belong to School/Graduate School of Engineering andhave a student visa.
※ Participants should have Personal Accident Insurance (Gakkensai) coverage by the date of excursion.
※ Those who joined the Excursion for International Students held by Center for International Affairs in 2019 will be named in a waiting list first.

Where and how to apply:
Apply at Center for International Affairs with a Student ID Card and PAI (Gakkennsai) receipt.
(Office hours 10:00-16:00) We do not accept application forms by e-mail.

The list will be closed when the fixed number of applicants is reached.

We, the center for international Affairs, will held "the Welcome Party for International Students of school /Graduate school of Engineering",
and invite you to the special party!

Cherry blossoms
Because of coronavirus, undergraduate students cannot enter campus. Graduate school students can enter for the experiments, only in case which the supervisor permits.
Now, cherry blossoms are in full bloom. However, let's keep a joy of "HANAMI" for the next spring!
